Hugo is a family film with a mystery wrapped in a loving homage. And I loved every moment of it.
DetailsLet’s get one thing straight: Having me review a movie written by James Ellroy is patently ridiculous. Whether or not what I have to say is favorable, the fact that I’ve been placed in position to pass judgment on anything the man does is silly. (Put your hand down, Bruckheimer!)…
DetailsYes, the summer movie season is close enough I can taste it! But will it leave a sour taste in my mouth or will its varied and imaginative flavors dance upon my film palette with a breath of joyous satisfaction? Perhaps a little of both? I have to admit, this summer does not look…
