KIMBERLEY BROWNING
Kimberley is a filmmaker and film festival programmer. She loves short films, Hitchcock, and wishes Raymond Chandler could tell her a bedtime story every night. She is known to preach the gospel of indie filmmaking on the street corners of America. Obsessed with American film history, she is determined to convince today’s’ new filmmakers that Oscar Micheaux mattered, and Lorraine Hansberry was the coolest woman ever. Her favorite films include “Belle Du Jour”, The ORIGINAL “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory”, “The Gods Must Be Crazy” and “Dr. Strangelove”, which honestly explains so much. Beware the future, as she was appointed the new the Cinematic Arts Chair of the YoungARTS Program, cheerleading the top high school filmmakers in the nation.
